You may have guessed by now that we absolutely love living here & here is a photo gallery of some of our favourite parts that we think you’ll love just as much as us!

Wilton Farm campsite

Wilton Farm campsite itself is situated past South Pool at the top of a hill with fantastic views across to Salcombe. Take a look at some snaps from last summer & this season which include the beautiful Glade & our own private access to Kingsbridge Estuary. The last couple are courtesy of the lovely guest at Wilton Farm Sara & her three children. Thank you Sara & co!

South Pool

South Pool is the local village and the river can be followed all the way down the estuary to Salcombe. Why not take a walk up to the top of the village & sit on the bench in memory of Jim Dalzell, a stalwart of the village & grandfather to the website creator! Sit & take in the view that he once loved

The famous town of Salcombe is just a short drive from the farm & is famous for it’s sailing enthusiasts. A beautiful town full of character & the place to be if you love a spot of sailing yourself!

Slapton & Torcross

This historic site is a hub for birdwatchers & holidaymakers alike. After a walk along the long beach you reach wonderfully quaint pubs & cafes offering locally sourced food & produce for sale. Sea Breeze is one such lovely cafe at Torcross – pop in for lovely food, drinks and gifts!

Dartmouth & Totnes

Dartmouth is famous for the Royal Naval College & you’re never short of a nautical statue or two! The colourful houses of Kingswear can be seen across the water & further up the river on the right hand side is the castle proudly looking out onto the open sea.

If your tastes are a little bit more quirky (which ours are!) then Totnes is an absolute MUST! The outdoor market runs every Friday & Saturday with stalls ranging from delicious food to unique furniture.

Pssst….those amazing patchwork chairs can be found on Classic Vintage’s Facebook page
