Situated atop the rolling hills of the stunning South Hams, stay on a traditional family-run working farm. Here you will experience the Good Life, exploring idyllic sandy beaches, wild headlands and grassy fields. Come to relax and unwind – watch the sunset around a crackling campfire and fall asleep under the stars. What more could you want?

Nestled above the picture-postcard village of South Pool, Wilton Farm campsite is the perfect base for exploring the Salcombe Estuary and the Devon coastline. From the campsite, walk down the ancient bridleway to the creek, where at high-tide you can journey along peaceful stretches of the estuary on your paddle board or kayak.

At Wilton Farm you will have a laid-back and peaceful camping experience. Free-range camping, a farm shop, hangout barn. Meet our hand-reared animals- friendly Jersey cows, lambs and chicks, and see our vintage fleet of tractors.

Compost loo’s, heated showers and washing facilities are all offered up in rustic wooden huts. Our facilities are basic and designed to be in keeping with the natural environment they are set in and to ensure they have minimal impact on the land. All totally off-grid, no electric hook-ups, no flushing toilets, just mother nature at her best.

This part of Devon is known for its golden beaches, rolling hills, deep country lanes and the spectacular South West Coast Path. Just down the tidal lane are the beaches of East Portlemouth, where you can catch the passenger ferry across to the sailing town of Salcombe. Within a stones throw is our quaint and award-winning village pub, The Millbrook and the famously eccentric pub, The Pigs Nose Inn. Eat locally caught Salcombe crab, freshly baked Devon pasties and quench your thirst with some local cider … the traditional flavours of the Westcountry.
