Amazing bank holiday stay here, camping with our family….we all loved it having arrived from the busy city. In the... ‘quiet’ field at night with just the sounds of some distant cows and the crackling of fire pits, under the clear sky star gazing- cannot get better than this! Facilities were so clean, couldn’t fault them. The walk down to the beach was fab, along the Estuary, taking us about an hour as stated on the website. We also just enjoyed the space around the campsite for the kids to run around and fly kites. Very helpful owners too.read more

Lovely camp site with clean facilities that are having a minimal impact on the environment - yet there was always hot... water for showers! Safe site, as children were able to freely roam, climb trees and swing on rope swings. All who worked there are super friendly, attentive and helpful - highlight feeding baby goats and baby calfs and climbing on tractors and singing round campfires in the evening! Looking forward to going back again next year! Thank you all at Wilton Farm!read more

Nice campsite in beautiful Devon. Facilities are basic but there's plenty of space and owners seem... flexible/accommodating. It's a working farm so there's an opportunity (at a small cost) for the kids to feed some of the animals which is nice. There are some good beaches nearby. However, please note that the roads are very narrow, so leave plenty of time and be prepared to do some reversing!read more

We've spent the most relaxing week at Wilton farm. The owners are the kindest, most caring people we've met in a long... time, nothing is too much trouble. The camp site is basic which is exactly what we wanted, there's a shop for essentials, even steak. There's an endless supply of hot water for showers and washing up, the toilets are cleaned 3 times a day and there's Frank's shack where you can meet up and chat. What more could you want, highly recommended and we will be going back. Thank you all so much for being so awesome xxread more

Beautiful weekend in nature Beautiful land and scenery, great facilities and perfect for a family to enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of items to buy from the shop and lovely hosts. We had to leave early because of the thunderstorm during the night but the ground was very tough which meant our tent stayed put. Would definitely visit again! Thank you

New favourite campsite We have stayed here twice in the last 6 months and can't wait to go back! Spacious fields with lovely views, very friendly owners/staff, a useful shop with a fridge/freezer (and ice creams!), large sinks to wash up (with hot water), amazing shower sheds and clean toilet sheds - even a cute little powder room shed 👌🏾😍

Our favourite site My current favourite site. Quiet, peaceful, welcoming, relaxed, tucked away. Views of Salcombe. Surrounded by lovely dreamy walks. Handy shop. Safe for children. Dogs on leads welcome. Fire pit hire available. An affordable way to experience the beautiful South Hams, and precious family time. I would warn anyone who is precious about their car’s paintwork that the local narrow roads might not be for you (although we encountered plenty of luxury SUV’s so they weren’t put off!) and very large vehicles and caravans should arrive only in the middle of the night as there is some inevitable reversing up or down steep winding roads to find passing places. This is all part of the charm of the area and I love the roads, just thought others might find this useful.

Great campsite, would definitely stay here again If you like luxurious facilities then don’t go to Wilton Farm. HOWEVER! If you love a camp site with loads of space, child and dog friendly, lovely helpful owners with no strict rules about groups, fire pits, bbqs and having great fun. Then this is the place for you. The loos are very basic but absolutely fine. The showers were lovely and hot but agin a bit “rustic”. Read the information carefully and you won’t go wrong. This is a fab camp site.

Simple camping at its best. We had a wonderful August Bank holiday weekend camping at Wilton Farm. This a wonderful simple campsite that offers space, beautiful views, hot water powered by solar and was easy to book. We enjoyed the simplicity of the surroundings and venue. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great laid back site Fantastic Laid back site. Great for getting away from busy noisy sites. Basic showers and toilets but do the job. Location good for local beaches but roads are narrow so cars or small vans only.. wide open spaces for kids to run around and most abide by 10pm noise curfew. We will be back

A peaceful stay Such a beautiful location and a lovely quiet campsite. The tiny shop sells everything you might need and the toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. If we come back to the area we will definitely return, wish more campsites were like this 😊

Beautiful and tranquil spot - close by to excellent pub I pitched in the bottom field and up against the northern side of the 15ft hedge running east west to protect me from Storm Bessie expected over night - so although theoretically exposed, there’s room to pitch for protection if needed. The shower shed produced an excellent stream of hot water and I felt clean enough to venture through the bottom gate and down the Lane to the excellent Millbrook Inn for rehydration and food - definitely also worth he visit. Clearly south Devon are trusting folks expecting the best out of people - and that shows with the Wilton Farm set-up, where I paid for my pitch using envelope and post-box honesty system; I also bought freshly laid farms own eggs and milk from the on-site farm shop for a healthy-ish breakfast; pretty darned idyllic spot and would recommend it to anyone
