Is there a place nearby where I can launch my kayak/SUP board or boat onto the Salcombe Estuary?

You can access the creek by walking down a footpath to the bottom of our farm. This is a good place to launch a SUP board, but as it is a steep hill to climb back up, it is not advisable to carry a kayak down to this point. South Pool village has a pontoon (a 5 minute drive/ 10 minute walk from the campsite), which is a good place to launch a boat or kayak. Please note that these parts on the estuary are only accessible 2-3 hours either side of high tide, depending on the height of the tides and size of vessel. We provide tide tables at the campsite.

Do you recommend any local pubs/ beaches/ activities?

We are spoilt for choice by the beaches, pubs, restaurants and things to do in our area. Please see our ‘local information’ page on our website. We also provide ‘Tourist Information’ packs and maps at the campsite and are available to answer any questions about the local area.

What is your environmental policy?

We love our farm and believe that as custodians of the land, we have a responsibility to ensure the campsite is as low impact as possible. The campsite is off-grid and we use compost toilets and solar powered lights. We ask all campers to respect the land and leave it as they found it. Please do not leave behind any discarded tents or camping equipment and use our recycling facilities for disposing of rubbish. Thank-you!

What is your Covid-19 protocol?

We provide hand sanitiser throughout the campsite and thoroughly clean our facilities regularly. Our staff wear PPE when attending the facilities and we ask everyone to adhere to national social distancing rules where possible. For our detailed CV-19 protocol, please see this page on our website.

How do I find the campsite?

Please look at our ‘How to find us’ page for directions.

We take a non-refundable deposit upon booking. Please let us know if you wish to cancel before your arrival, so we can offer the space to other campers. The remainder of your balance will be payable on arrival. Please note that we cannot offer any refund if you wish to cut your holiday short due to bad weather.
